The absolute worst company. Their due dates are not the same date each month. And if the due date is the 12th, you get a late fee added on the 13th. How are you supposed to always know when the bill is due if the bill due date always changes, unless you are checking the bill daily. They do it so they can cut your power off, then charge you a reconnection fee. And they get to pull it all off because they are the only company that services my area. It literally makes me want to move, just to stop giving them my money.

I have never dealt with a group of people that have no idea what they are doing. I have called Jones County Tri-County to get a street light bulb changed or services because it is out and they tell me it has to be in the name of a resident. So a public light has to be paid for by a resident of the community? Is that a Georgia thing? Then I get pointed to the Commissioner's Office...only to speak with a worker that had no idea what I was talking about for the second time. I will get my flashlight and walk in the dark when the sun goes down because I have never heard of a resident paying for a public street light. Stranger things have happened...

I went on week vacation was late on payment. Electric off on return on a Friday. Paid online they received payment. Was told I wouldn't have any electric all weekend. This company quick to take money slow to serve. When did caring for customers end. I hope doesn't go below freezing my daughter and pets won't get sick. I am guessing they are the only choice for electric which would explain getting around to things on their time.

I have to say, I am impressed!! Our power went out for the first time since buying our vacation home on Sinclair and these boys were on it!!! They flew in here and got the power back up within the hour. I appreciate all our line men especially living on the beach but wow the response time was fantastic with Tri County!!

I have been calling for a whole month straight and NOBODY has returned my calls! Better yet everytime I call it’s doesn’t get documented & the customer service reps are RUDE! How the hell they are busy EVERY time you call? And little Miss Brittany refuses to transfer me over & she doesn’t want to provide me with the supervisor’s information. This company is a complete joke and they basically are ripping off customers! They should be CLOSED!

Very rude customer service. There is no reason for the two women in customer service to have acted that way or conduct themselves in that manner. They set their own rules, and what applies to one may not apply to another. I wish we had options and not a monopoly. I promise I would not choose them.

Constantly getting $30+ 'adjustments' listed on my bill for months and no reasoning behind it.... Must be nice to get a raise just because you decide you want one. $30+ extra per account is a lot of money that this company is pocketing 🤔

Buying a new house and tried to speak to someone at Georgia Power for a long time. After no luck I finally got to chat with them I found out I was under TRI COUNTY EMC.
I called them and immediately got to a nice person named Jane.
They helped me set up service and helped me with all my questions. I was very pleased with the quality of service.
