It was super easy to enroll. My only problem is that I am NEVER prompted with an optional start date. I NEVER know when the switch is to occur. I signed up in Sept BUT my former suppliers contract is not up until Nov. 1 It would have been nice to start Energy Harbor service closer to my previous suppliers END date..

I've been a user of Energy Harbor for several years now and it's been relatively uneventful, so I chose them again when my last contract expired. I had to go online again to get a competitive rate though. Calling them directly couldn't get the online rate, and the rate they offered to automatically continue with was significantly higher than my past (or renewed) rate.

So, they are easy to work with and don't require locked in contracts, but they can still be a bit 'predatory' in their pricing if you're not paying attention.

Easy to work with…. Great prices for now…. Took an 8 month plan. However I want these guys to consider people who have electric cars…. We use more power than most households and need a break.

Signup online was easy. Energy Harbor immediately acknowledged my submission. About a day later they confirmed they had notified my utility company. In about another day, my utility confirmed the change and even provided when I could expect to see Energy Harbor charges on my monthly bill. Energy Harbor also confirmed my rate and term and other specifics in their correspondence so there could be no misunderstanding. Overall, a streamlined process for conversion and saving money.

I did the website, and I thought I did it right. However, I received two emails. One saying congratulations I was signed up. The other one came later saying I was canceled because of duplicates. I called, and the Karen was so helpful. She looked it up to clarify that I was signed up. She didn't know what happened, but said I did everything right. I really appreciate Karen, and her good customer service.

This was a stress free transition to switch to this utility company supplier. Customer service person was very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. I'm looking forward to my lower rate locked in for a 24 months fixed rate. Would recommend to anyone wanting to save on their utility bill.
