Would rate them 0 stars if possible. Hands-down worst customer service I’ve experienced since waiting on hold to speak to someone at the DMV in Los Angeles county. Perhaps in the future Coweta county citizens will have the freedom to choose their power company and allow a free, fair market to let them choose which companies they use for service. Currently I am resigned to use this business for “service” based on my geographic location. In any other circumstance I would have cut the ties and gone to a company that could actually supply a consistent service.

Having lived all over the country, I can stay with certainty that this is the worst electric company I’ve ever received service from.
Since buying a home in Coweta county, I’ve experienced power outages with great frequency. And outages will commonly last more than 12 hours!
But remember- if you’re more than 3 days late with bill payment, they’ll be quick to threaten to turn off power. IMO they shouldn’t be responsible for serving so many customers if their response time is so poor.

I wish I had a choice of power companies. The service is very unreliable and is constantly going off for hours at a time. In the last 5 days it’s been off 3 times. When it gets really hot, I start worrying if the power is going to stay on. Just awful!

Mail service as we know has slowed. However, my April payment wasn’t received (?), posted until 4/15 but due 4/9 which is why I mailed on 4-1! I don’t believe it took 15 days to receive. This was the Only bill late and l mailed out of town.

Today I called the light company to see why I was denied service and they stated because I owe 900 and something dollars on an account from 2010. I then informed them that I was a heart patient and unable to work at this time. A gentleman advise me to take 75.00 down to this office and startup prepaid services which will pay towards my balance everytime I pay. Once i got to the office they said no and that he was wrong and that i cant receive prepaid services until i pay off all or most of that balance. Georgia Power dosent work like this. They help individuals in need and not treat them as if their abusing the system. Now I'm left without lights as a heart patient with 4 stents. Very disappointing
