Recently, they had to remove and replace my system so a roofing contractor could repair damage from Hurricane Helene. Their service staff was helpful and willing to coordinate with my roofer. The crew that did the removal and install worked quickly and around our schedule. There were no interruptions to life as usual.

Even though we were recovering from a tough situation, AES kept their part of the process headache-free.

We have had a great experience and would highly recommend Alternative Energy Southeast, Inc. We installed are solar system, 3 power walls, and 2 electrical vehicle chargers in the summer of 2022. The install team was courteous, on time, and gave appropriate heads up when they would be arriving to the job site. We had a great experience and have substantially reduced our electric bills and environmental impact. Our system performed flawlessly in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in a very hard hit area. This month we added an additional power wall and once more, the team arrived on time when expected with an efficient install. This is the best solar team around! No gimmicks, you deal directly with the AES team and not a 3rd party driving around in a wrapped vehicle. We will continue to use them in the future! Thank you!

I have been a customer of AES for 7 years and have been very satisfied with their products as well as services for the length of our association. We 9 had solar panels installed in 2017 through a city-wide initiative. From the first meeting with the technician whose job it was to determine if we were a good fit for solar to my service call last week concerning disconnection of monitoring services, the folks at AES have been easy to get in touch with, easy to work with, and quick to solve issues. The panels work through a bi-directional inverter, and when the original one failed, they came out right away to install a new one for no charge. The only fees ever charged have been for moving the internet connection used for monitoring to a different room in my house. This charge was minimal and included service and equipment. Overall I am very happy with AES and recommend them to anyone considering adding solar to their home.

It's still early in the ownership phase, but so far I'm very pleased. The initial cost was honestly higher than I expected, but even with conservative numbers, I should get an ROI within 8 years if you include the 26% tax credit that is currently available. The plans were very detailed, and the overall experience was very professional. My only complaint is that Georgia Power limits the net metering to 10kwh systems. Otherwise I would love to expand what I have. My rep was Aaron, and he promised that I would have the system up and running by the end of the year, and he was correct. He also spent a lot of time on the phone answering a ton of questions. I highly recommend this company if you decide to pursue solar power for your home or business.
