I absolutely cannot like this place or the people who work there! They are awful and don't give a flip about the residents of their community. It is never their fault. They will not listen to reason and will hang up the phone on you or walk off. I'm so mad with this company! It's a freaking water bill! I receive more respect and help from my mortgage company than I ever have with this place!

I posted a review a couple of months ago, but it appears it disappeared!!!? I noticed that several reviews stated "have no business there" or "never been there", but gave FAVORABLE reviews! What is that about? As a customer/member of this co-op since 1988, I can affirm through personal experience that the many of the policies & procedures enacted by the current Board of Directors are not only impractical, but also illegal. They are imposing a great hardship on those who are not fortunate enough to own homes by requiring the tenants to pay a deposit 2 to 3 times the amounts required in other municipalities... in addition to requiring that the landlord sign a contract accepting responsibility to pay the unpaid debts of those who rent. This action, along with many others, are in violation of the By-laws as well as the Alabama Code, and is discrimination against a class of people who are renters. A member of this Board has stated that they "can do anything we want to do!" Air, food AND WATER are our most valuable possessions in this life as they sustain our life. We must have "trustees" of our water who protect ALL of us in a fair, reasonable, and lawful way.

Has to be the worst utility type company I have ever dealt with. Board members think the people they serve don't know what is going on; will not provide information to the members on where or how the funds of the cooperative are being spent. Charge an exorbitant deposit for tenants or renters and want the landlord to co-sign for a renter BEFORE they will turn on water. Do not have the capability to run credit checks, so they want adults who have established credit to have to have a co-signer to get water service - how ridiculous is this? Also, they charge you a fee for using a debit card - lots of places do this, but theirs is higher than any other place I've used plastic. Office staff is some of the rudest people to deal with - if there's a leak, they will take the phones off the hook so you can't call them to find out what is going on and both of the women that work there are just plain snotty with bad attitudes. Place used to be about serving the people on the system, now it seems like all they are about is how they can raise rates for piss poor service and a water system that is getting ready to fail.

Since this place changed hands 3yrs ago it is doing great. They have paid off a tremendous amount of debt. They now take debit ,credit and checks. It use to be cash only. You can also pay over the internet. We have a fantastic Board of Directors, manager and workers. Good Job guys! Looking forward to 3 more years of your leadership

I hate that I even had to put one star. I ask to speak to the manager because the lady at the front desk is extremely rude and nothing she was saying was making sense! The manager doesn’t even come to the window sits in his chair and acted like he didn’t hear a word I was saying. This company is a rip off! They need a better receptionist and a manager that knows how to handle situations like mine!

I got my water cut off today, paid my bill on 2/10/20 today is 2/17/20. I call and tell girl in the office told me sharply and rudely that I DID NOT PAY my bill, well I pulled it up on my phone, told her what date it went through and receipt number. She said she would call me back she never did, I had to call her back. She said she FORGOTto write it down. Not a I'm sorry or nothing. This person needs another job. I don't know who's daughter she is but she needs to go. The guys who came to ture my water back on were great.

This is a poorly run business. First they have a copy of the By laws that are not correct. They started that the quorum amount has been changed from 20% to 15% Alabama non profit corporate law states can only raise the percentage but cannot lower it. If they had an attorney that was worth a flip he would know that. Also, a nonprofit is not to be micromanaged by the board members. Also, there are resolution from 1993 that the manager is responsible for all the hiring and termination of employees. NOT THE BOARD MEMBERS. Also need to check the IRS web site on nonprofit corporations, you have to show financials for every day that you have refused this it's a $20.00. I believe the first time they were asked for was September 2016. Oh and by the way, this is against the Board members not the cooperation. You are personal liable. Everyone of you since Aug 2016. You do not follow the Article of Incorporation nor the Bylaws. You refused the members 2 times a request for special meeting. IRS states you have to provide us this meeting. Uh oh You are in noncompliace of the IRS 501(c)3 rules and regulations for tax exempt status. If you had a descent Secretary she would have researched these matters. Oh, but when she started Jesse had to show her to get on the internet.

They make up thier own rules to when the bill needs payed as they go. Dont pay on thier website. They wont honor it,even if you have a conformation number of day and time it was paid. You usually can pay a past due amount on or before the due date. You will be ok until 3 days later and they disconnect your water and lock it off.. then charge you an additional $100 fee to get it unlocked. You NEVER know what they will be doing. No rules set on how to pay, or how much to pay. Dont believe what the bill says.
