This is for a review of an install I did in 2017. These guys did an amazing job installing a solar panel system and walked me through the whole way from design to install to operation to post-check ups. They are very professional, responsive to
questions and concerns, and were the most competitive in prices among other vendors. I'd highly recommend them to do your solar panel install (and do it quickly before the Fed tax rebate runs out)!

Inverter Replacement 01-2025

We had no idea our 5-year-old inverter had failed until La Solar informed us in late October. We decided to have them replace the unit. While scheduling the appointment was cumbersome, requiring conversations with five different agents, Arman eventually responded and got things moving after a long wait. I assume the holidays played a significant role in the delay.

The installation process, however, was seamless. The technician was informative, quick, professional, and very helpful. That said, I wish we had been notified sooner about the issue to avoid paying full-price electric bills for six months. However, I understand that the business merger may have contributed to the delay.

Overall, I’m deducting one star for the extended wait time, but everything else was handled well, and I’m happy the unit is back up and running. I look forward to building a long-term relationship with La Solar and witnessing everyday improvements for both the company and the solar industry.

My experience with this company began in late 2021. After I got a few bids they were able to price match and I decided to go with them, they promised a fast time line and they did not deliver. From signing the contract to when they actually turned on the panels was 6 months. And nothing but problems in between that time, they contract out to different workers so id be getting calls from different individuals with different timeliness. Eventually they delivered panels and threw them on my driveway, then again heard nothing for several weeks. I'd call and they'd promise to call back and id be ignored. But of course when they're asking for money it's nonstop calls, emails and texts.
Finally they came I paid the individual that came they were upset and demanded payment be to them,not to the contracted party, I told them to contact their contracted employee.... forward to now. My panels never generated enough power so they completely downsized me where I needed to add more panels. Of course at a higher cost since now, everything needs to be done again. After a few weeks of back and forth, I was able to negotiate with the salesperson. However, due to my previous concerns, I told them I wouldn't be paying unless they began working and I'd see progress. They kept demanding money, and I kept receiving emails. I put my foot down and just paid the amount as they completed their work. And of course, they wait until they are done with everything, so I can't cancel. Today, they sent me this fee as pictured for 22 weeks of late fees.

Interesting as I had spoken with their representative to tell them id pay the remainder of the system installation which was $8477, just 2 days ago and this was not brought up.
Since beginning working with this company I've experienced nothing but a headache. Their scammy approach by getting more and more money from customers is evident by this picture of the email. The work on my house was completed about 10 days ago yet somehow they are asking me to pay 22 weeks of late fees.
It seems that they make their own rules against the actual contracting state licensing board.

Notified LA Solar several weeks ago about our system and what appeared to be poor solar production . Text return and phone call to diagnose issues remotely. Amazing quick response. Next steps were not so quick as the web site instructions were not clear regarding what the cost was and what it included. Only contacted me via text and resending the same link for service. This needs to be better explained rather than just resending same link which did not clarify what I was going to be paying for. Once that $$$ was sent, though, the tech was sent quickly. John is amazing and helped me access the app version of my dolor arrays and installed the new inverter. Unfortunately, he indicated he was not able to take the old equipment away and left it for us to deal with. That is something I think LA Solar should handle, especially with the cost of this service. I am very happy with the work John has done and am happy to report the equipment is working well now!

I highly recommend this solar company! They have been fantastic to work with from the start. Every time I’ve needed support, they’ve been quick to respond, and their team is incredibly helpful and supportive. It’s easy to communicate with them, even through email or text, which makes the whole process smooth and stress-free. All of the installation techs I have worked with are super friendly and professional.

I’ve had my panels uninstalled and reinstalled for a new roof, and the experience was seamless. I was able to order and schedule the service online via the website. After the roof was completed I scheduled the reinstall.

They also helped update some of my equipment that had failed. This was completed and upgraded with no cost.

I can’t say enough good things about them—they truly go above and beyond for their customers. If you’re looking for reliable and responsive solar support, they’re an excellent choice!

My expert with LA Solar group has been nothing short of OUTSTANDING!!! They installed 44 panels and 2 Tesla batteries. Thru have saved me $1000's of dollars. Also with the California fires and southern ca Edison turning off power all the time.... we don't hsve any interruptions.. They monitor the whole system and come out and fix any micro- inverter problems that happen from time to time... I have had a fantastic experience from beginning to end with LA Solar group. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We moved to a home where the solar had already been purchased. Because we were not the ones there when it was set up we needed help understanding how our system works and how we can monitor it. LA Solar helped us coordinate the handoff from the previous owner to us and set up multiple calls to learn more over the phone, plus they came in person very quickly to replace one part of the device. The technician who came out was on time, friendly and courteous (he took off his shoes before coming in which we appreciated), and explained everything he was doing in an easy to follow manner. The account manager, Melanie, was very friendly for our phone calls and readily available. I can't speak to the original installation, but our experience was better than we expected.

I've had problems in the past with LA Solar, but this recent outage of 2 of my Microinverters that failed was handled promptly and mostly efficiently.

Michael from LA Solar and Chiranth from Enphase worked well together to get my microinverters ordered and installed quickly. The installer did not show up for his first appointment, but Michael made sure that a new appointment was made promptly and kept, ending in 2 good workable microinverters.

I do love having a solar system with enough back-up to be able to always have energy, even in blackouts. The software for both LA Solar and Enphase are very informative.
