My wife made an honest error and went to switch our provider 1 month too early not realizing that we were still under contract. When we contacted customer service the gentleman was extremely rude and had a smug attitude and said there was nothing that could be done so here we are with a $150 early termination fee all because we wanted to avoid the major rate increase. They offered no other solution but to pay up.
This company takes advantage of people counting on them to not realize when their contract is up so they can rate gouge you or in our case hitting you with an outrageous fee for “voiding the contract tract”
Stay away from these people they are snakes

Do Not recommend. I chose this energy supplier to save money. My bills have now doubled only 6 months into my contract.
I called to cancel my service with Clearview Energy and the agent on the phone excessively told me at least ten times I would have a $150 cancellation fee charged on my next bill. I was not aware of having cancellation fees when I signed up.
I choose the supplier to save me money since I am a single income single parent household. Instead it has cost me most more Beware!!!!

absolute scam of company. Contract ends they do not notify you (zero Commnication) they just up your rate 500% so you get huge bill. Call and they are rude and more than happy to get their two-month windfall that killed any saving you may have had over the contact period. Two months because can't drop/change them till next meter reading. This is def planned and part of how they do business. They obviously don't care about keeping you as a customer. SCAM!

Contract ended with little notice. Variable rate kicked in at 3 times the regular rate. NEW rate never appeared on bill. Old, good rate always on the bill; New rate not there. Purposeful: Hiding the new rate by not including any rate on bill. Company had no interest in keeping me as a customer. Of course I left.

Absolutely the worst supplier I've ever been with. The rate hikes with zero notice are substantial and frequent. They come to your door and lie to your face to get you to sign on. I'm new to paying utility bills so I am unfamiliar with the processes. They are of no help and blame you for their deceitful business practices. Use any other supplier.

Do not trust this company. They tripled my bill after the initial agreement expired, without any notification. There rate was also triple the O & R variable rate. When I tried discussing with them, they said that they can't help. So this huge company buried little me (financially speaking) who is on a fixed income and pocketed my HARD earned money. Shame on them

Absolutely a complete scam ! This place made my electric bill go sky high 10x more than what my bill was before . And now they say I need to pay a fee to cancel it : absolutely insane company if you’re thinking about doing it I DO NOT RECCOMEND . As a single mom on a fixed income they ruined me
