Referred in from a friend, from the beginning, there was some confusion as there was a long time waiting for the permit from the city of Chino Hills but once we got past that and got the new folks spun up to speed on what we were looking for things went pretty smoothy. Axia Solar Corporation by Qcells did an excellent job on the tail end. We were able to get 14 panels in, have been seeing good production and both the roofing and the solar install were both aesthetically and functionally completed to the highest standards with the reasonably priced.

A big Thanh You for great service and excellent staff from Tommy Berbas, Sr. Manager of Solar Operations. Everyone at Axia by Qcells is fantastic. The whole experience was fast, easy, and painless. They will treat you with honesty and respect. I was very pleased with the Axia by Qcells crew, specifically Tommy Berbas. They all were friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to explain about solar systems in easy to understand terms. I have no regrets in my decision to go with solar and I highly recommend Axia By Qcells to all my relatives and friends.

Our Representative Jose was in touch with us from the beginning all the way to even today. We are pleased with outcome of our solar panel installation. They were here when they were scheduled, they were all very pleasant and efficient. The whole job took less than 2 days complete. They cleaned up almost as if they were not here at all. We have decided to refer friends and family to Jose and Axial... Just in case they chose to go solar as well

Axia was prompt and on time the day they said they would be starting. They were polite, clean and worked efficiently. They answered the questions we had and gave us an outline and timeline of the installation. We were only without power for approximately 20 minutes when they were connecting the solar panels and battery to our main electrical panel.
We are not live yet with solar power, but the installation was excellent.

We had been researching solar options for a few years. When we contacted Qcells for initial information, Jose Puente Ortiz met with us. He introduced the company and presented their product with much confidence and assurance. There wasn't any pressure nor sales pitch. Qcells products and program turned out to be the best option for us. Jose kept us informed throughout the process by phone or appointment. He responded to our calls in a timely manner and was always punctual for appointments. It was an efficient and painless process. This company and Aldo were very good to work with. communicated well, and the only minor issue we had was resolved immediately.
Aldo was excellent to work with, he was available the entire process and very knowledgeable. as well as being easy to contact.
As far work teams ( roofing then solar), everyone was professional and personable - quite pleasant.

My solar power system by Qcells is working well, and I am pleased with it.
However I did have problems (my experience was unpleasant). Many times there seemed to be no progress on the project; and when I would ask for status updates I would get no response. My e-mails (about anything) were routinely ignored. When they finally installed the system, they provided me with no means of monitoring it. When I eventually was able to monitor the system, I discovered that it wasn't working; It had been installed incorrectly. When I contacted them about fixing it, they just blew me off. Eventually it was fixed, and it is now working well. From beginning to end, the project took nearly 7 months.

It should be noted that Axia does not do their own installation; they hire local contractors. They hired Solar One to do the installation at my house.

Shortly after I posted my original review, I was contacted by someone from Axia.
She was very nice, and apologetic. Of course at that point there was little she could do.
However she did fix one thing: They had started charging me about a month before the system was working; she arranged for me to get a 2 month refund. That was a very nice gesture. She also informed me that the entire customer support staff had been replaced (however the person who blew me off regarding the repair was one of the new people).
When the first heavy rain hit, my roof leaked; the location was directly beneath one of the mounts for the solar panels. I went up on the roof; one of the mounts looked like it had a small void in the sealant. I slathered it with roof-patch; that fixed it. While it was only one of the many mounts that was leaking, that was one too many. Although Solar One is to blame for the installation mishaps, Axia did choose them.
