I went to Marianne as a suggestion by my cousin. I suffer from severe anxiety in general and was sick about an upcoming surgery. I didn't really know what Reiki was about and well, I still don't (I'm deeply interested now and want to research more). I can't even explain what Marianne did to me during those three sessions. After the 1st, I left feeling so outside of my body that even though I was able to drive home, I slept for about 10 hours. I just couldn't wake myself up. The 2nd session wasn't as intense, but the 3rd, the same thing happened again. Like I'm living outside of my old self looking in. Its been a week since my last session and I feel like I'm living in a twilight zone. My anxiety is almost non-existent things that would bother me are just rolling off my shoulders. I sit here happy, confused, and intrigued. I wish I could just 'accept' what happened in those sessions, but my curiosity is getting the better of me. I need to understand what happened. I've purchased a few books on 'understanding Reiki' as I need to know more. I would suggest if you are stressed, anxious, or just beside yourself in life, go see her - her healing is powerful. She didn't need to know many details about me for me to feel a big change. I'll try to update later as this is all new to me at this point in time. I'm not new to yoga, space, mediation, but Reiki was new to me. I'm glad I tried it and will do so again. Thanks Marianne, for all you did for me!!!

Kim is such a genuine soul; such an authentic ray of light. I first met Kim as my (super-talented) hair stylist, but was thrilled to learn she is a Reiki Master with two decades of expertise. Talented much?! I’ve long sought a Reiki practitioner here in North Tahoe, and my search has mercifully ended. Interested in pursuing my Reiki Level 1 Certification through Kim, she recommended I first have a session with her. Wow. Wow! She’s incredibly intuitive and immediately tuned into my deepest struggles; how she astutely tapped into things I’ve been carrying for years – and never mentioned to anyone – speaks to her capabilities.

Kim creates such a comfortable, tranquil space, and the session is delivered by someone who makes you feel at ease and peace as soon as you enter the room. I left the session feeling lighter and more at peace than I had felt in years. More importantly, Kim gave me useful, tangible tips on things I can to afterwards to maximize the session benefits.

I have been a client of Reiki Tahoe for over ten years. In that time I have taken many reiki practitioner courses, attended the sound healing sessions that are offered and I have had regular one on one reiki for my own personal healing. My review of Reiki Tahoe is for all of these different services they offer.

For the classes I have taken, I have been impressed with the level of organization and skill in teaching this nuanced material. I didn’t really know what I was getting into when I started taking the classes, but with the encouragement and support of Reiki Tahoe, I knew it was my path. Marianne is very thorough in her preparations and she provides you with plenty of information and resources as well as opportunities to practice and play with your own skills. I have come away with a strong sense of confidence in my ability to help others in their energy work.

The sound healing sessions are sooooo relaxing and heart opening! I highly recommend this as a starting point if you’re considering reiki but not sure how much you want to do.

And finally, my one on one reiki sessions have changed my world! I have accomplished so much personal growth thanks to Reiki Tahoe and while I also have spent time with a psychologist to help me with my growth, it’s the reiki that Marianne provides which has really helped me to move forward. Reiki healing to unstuck the energy that I didn’t realize was stuck has opened my eyes to the possibilities and abundance life offers as well as opening my heart to trust my own process. Marianne is a very gifted healer who listens well and helps to discern what needs healing in an amazingly precise way. Together we have journeyed through other worlds that have helped me to understand my path and trust my instincts even more.
