Zach and his crew installed our ~11kW AC system in Bishop about 3 months ago. It has preformed flawlessly since then and should pay for itself in less than 5 years. From my initial email to Zach, to our final permission to operate from LADWP, it was exactly 6 weeks! Zach's bid was the most affordable of the three that I received. Zach and crew were a pleasure to work with: communication was quick & easy, there was no pressured up-sell, and he answered all my questions. I appreciated that Zach both quoted the job himself, and he was actively doing the install with his crew. I was impressed that when he needed access to our attic above the garage that he didn't charge extra to cut-in, install, and trim-out an access hatch. Finally, I especially admired how patient and kind his crew was to our three kids who had lots of questions. 100% would do it all again!

Sierra Solar installed panels at the office I work at in Bishop and was such a pleasure to work with! They kept us informed through the process and were super responsive whenever we had questions. We hired Sierra Solar a little over a year ago to have solar panels put on our home in Mammoth Lakes. Zack did a fabulous job. Everything he promised, he fulfilled, including the timeline of when he would do the installation. We have been very happy with the job and thoroughly enjoy no longer having an electric bill. It’s been worth it.

I have nothing but great things to say about Zach Walters and his crew at Sierra Solar, Inc. From the design of the system, to its installation, to how extremely well the system is functioning now that it’s up and running, this is a top notch outfit that knows what it’s doing and provides service with a smile. These folks are competent, work efficiently, and answer questions in an informative manner. We now have a remarkable, power-generating system capable of backup power during blackouts…all driven by user-friendly software on your cell phone app that keeps track of the weather and warns you when blackout might be coming, adding a suggestion to keep your batteries fully charged! Again, I couldn’t recommend them more.

Best experience with anything in Mammoth. On time, quick estimate, installation was fast & efficient. Zach is always available for assistance or advice. When panels were damaged from huge snow storms they were replaced quickly.

I can heartily recommend Zach and company, I can tell you from experience they will go the extra mile :-). The install went off ahead of schedule, I was informed of any changes to the timing of the different phases, they handled all contacts with the county regarding permitting and inspection, and the system has performed as promised. Something to bear in mind is that this system is unsurprisingly high tech and you will want people who can service this system. If you ask around, you will find this company has a long record in the area, they have done all kinds of installations, they’re going to be there if you need them. I did ask around, no one had anything but positive things to say, and my experience was the same.

After the big winter of 2022-23 in Mammoth, we had damage to our roof solar system. Once the snow melted, we noticed less solar generation and visual damage to some of the panels, bummer as the system was only 2 years old. Zack and crew tested, ordered and installed replacement panels pretty fast. He followed up to make sure that my monitoring software was working properly with the new panels. Great job, good communication, would not hesitate to recommend Sierra Solar.
