Even after changing the day of our pick up service, (if you can call it that) they continually are late picking up the bins, sometimes not picking up till 3 or 4 in the afternoon. And if you call them, you get a response of "Better late than never."

Cal Disposal has always taken as many cans as I have put out. I like that they collect green waste, co-mingled recyclables, and trash in separate trips. This helps prolong the life of our landfills. Some customers complained that there is not an automatic pay option or on line payment. I use my bank bill-pay, and have also used the the on-line payment. I see that there is now an automatic payment option also. I hope to work with Cal Disposal to effect a little bit better service--meaning positioning the forklift bins off the street and where the lids can be closed. And also encouraging those customers with the bins to not overfill them and to keep the lids closed.

Cal Disposal is unethical, unprofessional and they believe that just because they have a monopoly on the trash service for a lot of homes in SB county that they can treat people however they want, make up rules as they go and make up invoices to suit their needs.

In October I asked for a trash bin, they said I can keep it as long as I want, I just have to pay$100 to get it emptied. I hurt my back and was unable to fill the can for a couple of months. One day some guy bangs on my door at 7:30am waking me up. Then he starts scolding me and telling me how I need to get that trash bin outside right now. I told him that he must be crazy waking me up to scold me and tell me what i have to do.

Right then I call the lady that told me we could have it for however long we want and she denies it all and then tells me that I only get two weeks and it is on the contract they gave me when they dropped off the can. First of all, not only did she tell me that we can have it for as long as we want, but she also told my roommate who was the one who originally called.

Three days later they send me a bill for $4000, and the hand write on it that they have been trying to contact me to get their bin back. AND she hand writes on it that I was only allowed to have it for one week. Not only are they liars, but they seem to be incompetent too. If you are going to try to lie and pull a scam, try to remember that just a couple of hours ago you made up a policy that said 2 weeks, try to stay consistent. If you are going to make up the invoice date, try to have some proof to back up your false claims. Like the proof that I have with my phone record, and when we go to court they can look at your phone record too. They dated the invoice Feb 1, but the first time I heard from them was Feb 5. To add to it all, since I got the trash bin in October I have gotten 5 bills, NONE of them said anything about $10 per day charge for the dumpster. They think the monopoly they have allows them to treat people however they want and allows them to make up things as they go. DO NOT MOVE TO COUNTY LAND IN S.B. THAT FALLS IN CAL DISPOSAL'S AREA OF SERVICE.

Cal Disposal has taken care of our trash for many years. They take as many cans as we put out and never leave a mess. I never find trails of trash on the ground. They have always done a good job for us and there is nothing negative to say.

Since Burtec took over the service is horrible. Use to be allowed 5 cans now they say three. Now its up to the driver to decide if he thinks its too much. I got transferred 4 times today and the lady refused to give me her name. Now they want you to do a bulk pick up..What I have is not worth a bulky pick up. Its called lazy people. I asked if the owner could call me, doubt he will. We dont get a choice in who picks up the trash unfortunately.

Very Friendly and Helpful and good rates too but most important excellent service I would recommend them to anyone in the San Bernardino Area in need of Trash Service
