Very friendly staff whether or not they get over on you depends on what you see as getting over, I guess lol. Everywhere you go people will try to make a dollar of 15 cents so the way I look at it is simple if you are trying if you have all your stuff organized properly you have nothing to worry about but if you're expecting for them to separate items for you when you get there or if your bottles still have liquid and your copper is not clean then don't expect with copper price for your price to go down when you do reserve the right to deny service and yet they still help you out.

Been going to Amko recycling for the pass 6 years the first time ever having a can leak and unfortunately it leaked on the attendant I apologize got 10 lb s.😳😳😳😳😱😱😳😳😳😱😱😱
The worst feeling ever I didn't realize a little leak I could understand it pouring out so be careful I made the mistake of not verifying each can like I did in the past don't be too overwhelmed coming to recycle cans after 11 hour shift working graveyard 😤😤😤😤😤

They are good when their gates are open and they are not busy. Unfortunately, they close their gates early and do not answer their phone. Unreliable.

Better than any location in San Bernardino. I hear Safeway is best, if you don't mind driving further to grand terrace.

My experience here was not bad at all, and as anyone who tries to get their bottle and can deposits back in California knows, that's saying something. Since rePlanet closed down, Redlands has been a recycling desert, so I put off my recycling run for months but finally had to choose a new location. I picked Amko based on clear signage and proximity to the freeway (10 minutes from Redlands), along with the fact that it's within its own recycling yard and not a kiosk in the parking lot of other businesses because I didn't want to think too hard about where to park or what the protocol was. I've been to more than one rePlanet where you had to be an initiated regular to know where to park, where to line up, and why the hell the doors were closed during normal business hours, so I just wanted something obvious and easy. Amko is just that. There are large and bright arrows pointing to where you get the barrels, where you line up to weigh, where you go in to the cashier and where you exit. During a midmorning on a Monday with a small parking lot full of customers, I was in and out in under 20 minutes with my cash. I have no reason not to return.
