They do NOT recertify propane tanks for RVs anymore. They were nice and honest, saved me a wasted drive.

My go to place use to be U-Haul. I would purchase my tanks new and had them refilled. Well... the service and support there has been a total disappointment the last 3 times within a years time. It is then when I found Kamps which I've never had an issue with. Today, I came in because I had gone to U-Haul and 1. they didn't have any new propane tanks 2. they made me wait 40 minutes before they could tell me they didn't have any. I've always found Kamps to be helpful when U-Haul couldn't. So guess what... Kamps will now be my go to moving forward. They haven't failed me so it's a no brainer. Plus, the folks here are all friendly. You don't get the attitude like you do at U-Haul. Thank you, Kamps for always being reliable and coming through for a customer.

I am a new owner of a camper and I had expired tanks, which was very concerning since it was getting cold and I couldn't find a place to refill the propane. Kamps was the only place I found in all of Southern California that recertified and filled them efficiently, professionally and inexpensively.

I saw a review that said the tanks were not able to be refilled at another propane supplier after the certification process at Kamps. That was not the case for me, it's been no problem but I do prefer taking my tanks to Kamps because they're all so friendly.

Earlier in the year I would have gave Kamps a five star but since they recently closed the tank refilling station, with no intentions of reopening it, they get a one. As a full time RVer it was great to have a modern, clean and personable staff location to refill tanks and Kamps always seemed busy. Anyways, their loss will definitely be someone’s gain, probably Sal’s Propane.

I used to love to go here to support their business. However, the last time I went to fill my rv tanks, they left me waiting outside for over 30 minutes, not an exaggeration. I made several calls while waiting, and of course, my cellphone tells me how long each call is, so that's how I know it was over 30 minutes. I packed up my tanks, and went to uhaul. Uhaul helped me immediately. Uhaul costs more, but I'll pay the extra, rather than be left to wait for 30 minutes plus

The office and yard were well kept and clean. The staff were both helpful and friendly. I brought in several older 30lbs tanks for recertification and Jim got the job done when promised. I’ll be having my tanks refilled here from now on.

Great customer service. Older gentleman that fills your tanks, whether small tanks or rv, is super friendly! Convenient, with no traffic issues. Price is about the lowest you'll find Riverside. Great place!
