I recently noticed a significant increase in my electric bill and decided to contact Sapling Energy after receiving one of their ads in the mail. I was offered a free consultation, and the specialist, Philip, was incredibly helpful. He took the time to thoroughly analyze my bills and discovered that my solar system wasn’t functioning properly. It turned out that my inverter had an error code that I hadn’t noticed.

Philip advised me to contact my original installer first, even though he also provided recommendations for repair companies. I really appreciate his honest advice and the detailed information he shared. Had a good experience with Sapling. I was suspect as i got an unsolicited letter at first, but after some research, I found lots of good review, so I scheduled a meeting. They thoroughly went through my issues and reviewed current solar production and PGE bills. They provided me lots of good ideas for reducing my annual true up. In the end, he felt that adding solar to my system was premature, but provided a lot of great info along the way. No pressure or strong arm sales, just fair assessment. Just got to say, thanks to Colin for

I just finished a most valuable discussion with Phillip at Sapling Energy! We discussed the parameters of my existing power wall and solar system (panels and inverter), and the California NEM programs as implemented by electric utility companies.
