Hands down the best hardware store in SF. There’s always someone available to help you find exactly what you need.

Tino went above and beyond to help me find an unusually sized screw, and he wouldn't give up until he found the right one. Exceptional customer service like this is why I keep coming back. Highly recommend

It's not often when someone in retail really goes the extra mile to help. Brandon Li helped me so much with a recent purchase. I was coming in from Sydney Australia and needed parts. Payment was a problem from outside US and I needed the parts delivered to a hotel. Most retailers would think it too much bother. Brandon looked after me every step of the way. I hope he gets promoted soon. Thanks again.

Center Hardware is the best! My partner and I went in for materials to install a pegboard to store kitchenware. Despite doing as much research as possible, I still had questions. An employee walked us through each step and was so kind to offer tips (thank you!!) It was the best possible experience for me, who is a novice and was nervous about the whole process. In the end the peg board was so easy to install/build (picture attached :)) and I now feel confident taking on more at home DIY projects largely thanks to Center Hardware!

Great tip: Center Hardware cuts down wood for you. Which is great if you're me who lives in a tiny SF apartment and has limited tools/resources.

Quite possibly the best hardware store I've ever seen. The quality of basically everything from basic to advanced power tools, fixtures, cables, etc is top notch and the selection is fantastic. People are friendly too.

Even if I didn't live near this place, I'd travel to it from the other side of the city whenever I need something.
