I came to Park 20 luxury apartments, based on the 5-star reviews of the management as well as the amenities. The reviews I read are 100% accurate. The management is very good with their job and very personable. Ruby the manager is the best manager I have ever encounter in my experience with the lifestyle of apartment-living. She has so much experience, patient, and the caring heart to make the life of her residents the best it can be. She helped me when I ran into problems with the moving truck driver and the company. It is not part of her job description. She personally made calls to the company to intervene on my behalf from being ripped off and harassed. Ruby is one of the most beautiful person, inside and out. She will respond to my concerns and questions even when it was after hours. That’s caring and dedication. She loves all the residents and their pets. And everyone, two-legged or 4-legged loves her.
They have parties for the summer, Christmas and Fall. The building is meticulously clean and organized. I love the clubhouse kitchen where you can get great coffee and other hot drinks. The pool, the hot-tub, the view, the gym, the dog park, the game room, and the playground are all awesome amenities. But Ruby and her management team are the main reason living here very peaceful, some-free, stress-free, harassment-free, and secure.

I recently moved back to The Lark at the end of April 2024, and it feels like coming home. It's a bit more expensive than living in Berkeley (an extra $700 per month, to be exact), but being close to Ruby is priceless. Not to mention, it's lovely to be reunited with Mr. El and Maria. Ruby takes excellent care of everyone, including our pets and watches over our apartments when we're away. She even looked after my two cats when I was on an international trip for a week and my automatic feeder suddenly stopped working. I sincerely am grateful for Ruby’s prompt response to the crisis. Mr. El is always super quick to handle maintenance requests, and Maria keeps everything spotless in the common areas.

So much has changed since I left a couple of years ago. The apartments and common areas have been completely transformed. We now have new amenities like filtered water dispensers in the clubroom and the gym, beautiful stone countertops and bathroom flooring in the apartments, a community vegetable garden, and even a dedicated studio for stretching and dancing. But despite all these changes, the heart and soul of The Lark remains the same - the incredible team of Ruby, Mr. El, and Maria, the regular safety checks to keep us all safe, the annual bulk waste coordination, and the fantastic neighborhood get-togethers.

I've also had the pleasure of meeting the new additions to The Lark Management team, Carl and Jose, who are just as friendly and helpful. All in all, being back at The Lark fills me with excitement, a sense of safety, and a deep feeling of peace. It's good to be home.

When we recently had clients that needed furnished corporate housing units and requested the San Mateo area, we turned to Park 20 where Ruby is the Community Manager.

From the outset, Ruby was incredibly quick, thorough and detail-oriented. We had to work directly with her to set up fully-furnished and equipped corporate housing units in time for our clients' arrivals. Typically, we have barely enough time to execute where there is almost no room for error.

Ruby's move-in process is incomparable. She emailed to us a detailed set of info that no other property management company has ever provided to us. It helped us tremendously with our execution as again, there is no time to waste.

I appreciate Ruby's genuine commitment to customer service. She provides to her residents the best white-glove treatment imaginable where she simply taps into a skill set that comes naturally to her.

In turn, she has been able to garner rave reviews from her residents that have ushered her to the top of the property management world.

I was very lucky that I chose Park 20 (the lark) to be my first place to live in California during pandemic. I was fortunate to have lived here for more than 2 years.
Ruby (the manager), Daniel and other team members make park 20 really a great place to live. They are easy to talk with and they are good people. The team tries to make this place better and better every year.
The apartment is safe, new, and clean, with great amenities.
Also park 20 has lots of community events during the year, which makes me feel like home and I was never bored.
Most importantly, every time I see Ruby, she seems very happy. She smiles a lot, and it makes me feel happy too.

I can't say enough about the community here at Park 20. I've lived here for over five years and I've loved my experience every day. Ruby the building manager is an absolutely lovely and an amazing woman. You can tell that she truly cares about this community, as well as her staff. Everyone in this community is so very nice and truly respects each other. Whenever something happens like a bulb goes out, or something gets broken, maintenance is there; usually the same day fixing it and getting it replaced. Also, Park 20 is always clean and smells fresh. The building is in very good condition. Ruby and her staff go all out and have community parties where there's food drinks karaoke dancing and everyone comes and has a great time. I can absolutely say that I've never lived in an apartment complex like this and hence why I'm still here. I truly thank, from the bottom of my heart, Ruby and the entire staff here at Park 20 for doing an amazing job and for always making us feel like this is truly home. Cheers!
