It took more than 16 minutes on the phone before I was able to reach a REAL person to change my billing address. Absolutely unacceptable that there is no option early on for a representative. I wish I could rate it a NEGATIVE 10 stars!!!!!

I had the most trash customer service experience today. Incompetent from start to finish and the lady I talked to was extremely rude. Yikes.

I called about charges on an account they verified as closed and was on hold for 1.5 hours( screenshot taken), Because it was closed, they said they couldn’t help me.
So I went into the office. I showed the bill with charges that state and auto payment would be taken out in April. They said, oh, don’t worry about that, the account is closed. I showed last month’s charges and told them the account was closed in January due to a fire that Red Tagged the entire complex. I should be getting a check from “Corporate,” for charges since January. We shall see.

7 minutes and 55 seconds to schedule a pilot light appointment; I was marketed to, asked a million questions. As a consumer I am drowning in the labor that is past to me from corporations because they do not have live employees to expedite services. They hold me as a captive audience to listen to their marketing one cannot move on until they have listened to that component. It creates; micro aggravation irritation aggression loss of control frustration so on and so forth*"" "" "" "" "this is not good for society as a whole and breeds ill will towards the company.

This might seem like an insignificant review but this is happening in all areas of business I conduct. It is a large amount of time.

Just recently moved into a new house and opened up a sdge account. They ran my credit score, came back with a 654$ deposit! Got the payment request and credit score report saying my score is 480. My score is not 480, but rather in the 690s...a huge difference. My beef is they base the deposit on the credit score, but it's false. I know what my score is because it's been checked multiple times during the home buying process, and I check it frequently.
It's the weekend, so I'm waiting to call in to see what that is all about, because who just wants to put a 654$ deposit down and wait a whole year to get it back, especially when the report is wrong. Fishy? Maybe. Error? Possibly. BS? Yes
Other than that, they were nice on the phone when I called in....doesn't make up for it though

Their claims for bills are insane. They are robbing all their customers in every region they supply power. I have metered every single month with two separate metering devices to confirm the KWH charges they claim are bogus. This is what a company does to survive due to many lawsuits for local fires. At the end of the day they are a monopoly business, only their customers lose as they win to account for all their losses. Please someone help us as they rob us for essential items to survive.

It's funny how they ask us not to use AC when criminals are chilling in county jail at 72 degrees..they keep the temp low in jail to help sanitation and reduce violence. But yet actual bill paying customers have to suffer! The only flexing I'm gonna do is my middle finger, ..screw SDGE!
