Alex and Blake gave tons of information about the heat pumps that were just installed in my house. My favorite feature that I learned about was the app that I can use to control my units away from home. I feel very comfortable reaching out with any questions or problems I have with my units in the future.

When they called in IGSolar in 2021, they explained to them that they wanted to be energy independent and not have to depend on a company for electricity.

The sales rep, Alex, told them that they would save money on our electricity bill and that they would get a refund from the government.
As of today, they don't really see the savings. Theynow also have a monthly solar panel bill with Solar Mosaic atop their Nyseg bill.
The government refunds they found out later, are paid out partially not in one lump sump. This means, they are currently paying interest on a loan balance that is higher than they thought they would have were they able to apply the full government refund all at once.
Another thing they want to mention is in regard to batteries. Alex knew that they wanted to get off the energy grid. When he sold them the system, they thought they would have electricity in the event of a power outtage but boy were they mistaken. It was not until the first outage that they realized that they don't have a battery back up system. You know, the number one thing they would need in the event the power failed!
They felt so misled. They remember from the sales pitch conversation with Alex, "you won't need batteries for the solar panels to work. And besides you should wait to get them because batteries are super expensive right now." They were told a half truth. They were so naive and so disappointed.
It has been 3 years and they are no closer to getting batteries due their cost AND IGSolar has not gotten back to them about their inquiry into getting batteries. They are still waiting for info on a company that provides batteries compatible with IGSolar system.
They now have over 50feet of ugly solar panels taking up ground space in their backyard.
Getting them and signing on with the finance company Solar Mosaic has been THEE biggest regret of their lives!

I Highly recommend IGS for SOLAR.
I recently shopped around for home solar w/battery backup and landed with IGS for three main reasons> Pricing, Local Company (that does NOT outsource the work to third party vendors) and Alex Hood.
Their pricing was very competitive and beat the competition with out sacrificing quality. Because they do not outsource the work, each individual that worked on my build had skin in the game game and it showed. Alex (my main contact) was knowledgeable with every aspect of the build, easy to work with and answered almost every question I had in Realtime.
From start to finish, the entire team was professional, easy to work with, very informative through every step of the build and most important to me on track and on time to what they stated would take place. Special shout out as well to Kim and Aneek who gave frequent updates, and were readily available for any questions and concerns and the onsite build team, (Levi, Ethen and Ronnie) this team was also very professional, never stopped working from the time they arrived to the time they left and left my yard and basement spotless upon completion. Well done guy's!
To date I am %100 satisfied with my project and as mentioned would highly recommend IGS and their dedicated team to anyone!
