I’m a little late in posting, but I wanted to make sure to get this in.
We finally made the decision this year to install solar. We interviewed four companies, including one that was being represented by a close friend. In the end we decided to go with DelSol Energy. Elvin was our sales rep and also one of the reason we went with them. He was very thorough, took his time to go over all the info and was very professional. He broke down how much current energy we were consuming and how it translated to a solar system. He wasn’t pushy or rushed the process. Even with some last minute delays, he took care of it right away and our system was installed without any problems.
The office was also very responsive, and to this day when I’ve called with additional questions, they have been answered appropriately.
It was important for us to go with a local company. There are so many awful stories out there that you can’t help but very nervous about solar, but in the end we feel we made a good choice with DelSol.

We chose Del Sol out of a three estimates. They had the best pricing. Installation was done quickly and professionally. Any issues that arose were quickly addressed. Everyone in the office has been very nice to deal with.

Del Sol was several thousand $ less than Sun Run and had superior equipment (LG panels & Enphase microinverters). Del Sol was transparent about which financing options save homeowners the most $. All the necessary processing / approvals were on time as estimated, and installation was quick, matching paint on conduits, and clean. Owner Josh Aldrich was responsive with our getting reconnected to Enphase. When Josh gave a large bonus to our relative, he gave us the same amount as a discount! Our system was installed springbof 2019 and we never had a True-Up bill, more than 4 years later. We’ve been happy that our system was right-sized and will have less degradation than others at that time. We know others who had horror stories with the door-to-door sales solar companies. Highest recommendation!

My first experience with Del Sol Energy began in their showroom. I could see the different solar panels made by several manufacturers. Just a note that not all solar panels are the same, especially important is the efficiency and quality. Everything was explained to me and they answered any questions I had. I recommend making an appointment to go to their showroom. There was no sales pressure to purchase and I appreciated that very much.

The installation was great. The crew was on time. They did a very professional job and cleaned up any mess they made. They also replaced a couple of roof tiles they had broken when walking on the roof. Besides the quality solar panels and microinverters, Del Sol Energy uses high-quality attachment brackets to secure the solar panels.

Last but not least is the solar monitoring app. Del Sol Energy includes the Enphrase Energy app with its solar system. The Enphrase app has a diagram of the solar panels on my roof and will show how much energy EACH solar panel produces daily, and will indicate if there is a problem with a solar panel or microinverter. There is much more information this app will provide that I won't mention here. The point I want to make here is that the Enphrase Energy app is far superior to another major solar app that I have on another home.

All in all, I highly recommend Del Sol Energy.

An absolutely amazing team! Started out as a curiosity. Contacted the company for an estimate. Brody presented some options and pricing. It was not as expensive as I thought, but we had preparations to make. A year went by and there was never any pressure to buy. We redid the roof and then started the install. Every single interaction with the install team, electricians, and sales was positive! Panels have been producing for almost a year and they are exceeding what was promised (ymmv). Would highly recommend Del Sol Energy for anyone interested in solar.

Del Sol did everything that they promised and had my system up and running on time. They engineered it well. I haven't paid a true up in the four years that my system has been in place. In fact, I usually have a zero balance for several months during the summer due to the excess sent to the grid. I also like that they went to the extra effort of painting the conduit to blend with the roof and the side of the house. When just glancing at my house, all one sees is the panels, not the ugly galvanized pipe. I would recommend Del Sol based on my experience.

Del Sol Energy did a great job with my solar system upgrade. The original installer was no longer in the residential business so when I decided to increase my system size I had to find a new solar company to work with. Del Sol added 12 panels to my 20 panel system, moved existing panels so the higher performing new ones were in the optimum location, and upgraded all the microinverters. I spoke with several solar companies but the equipment recomended by Del Sol and the price were the best. They reworked plans to meet my desired panel location and wire routing. There was a delay in getting parts (common at the time) but were eventually able to source high performance panels with the optimum geometry for my installation. I monitored the installation, which was very professionally done, and noted that they replaced some of the old connectors and wiring that was beginning to show age. I reached out to Elvin and his team back in June 2022. We set up a call and we broke down the needs for the size of my home. He was very knowledgeable about solar and explained everything in detail. He answered any questions I had. My panels were installed about a month later. Since then, our PG&E/Electricity bill has been $0.
