If i could give 0 stars i would! I moved to a new house off Nason August first, my bill was generated with Moreno Valley Utility for 20 days of me living at my new residence and the bill was almost $700. When I lived off of Heacock I had Edison and even during summer and running my ac all day and all night, I never had such an obscene bill! This company will do a payment plan as long as you pay half of the bill. If you do not pay, they give you 10 days a day passed the due date and then after the 10 days pass they call you with a 48 hour notice of shutoff. They are heartless and do not care about what financial situation you are in, they do not care if you have kids or anything. I think their payment plans should be reasonable and accommodate each individual so they are not putting people out or having their power shutoff. I called the Riverside County Supervisor and had a case opened on this company today! Edison was far more lenient and completely understanding with peoples situations, as long as you made a payment with them they NEVER threatened to shut off your power like Moreno Valley Utiility does. This company should be shut down and Edison should take over. If you are reading this and have Moreno Valley Utility and have had similar experiences or are unsatisfied with them PLEASE call the County Supervisor and file your complaints. Our voices need to be heard. My heart goes out to all the families struggling during this difficult time we live in, there should be some mercy but with Moreno Valley Utility, there is none!

How in 2025 are you not alerting your customers about outages or repair times. No website or phone number providing information. My security and internet companies have told me there is an outage but crickets from MVU.

Noticed usage increased significantly despite me rarely being home or ever using my AC at home. I reviewed usage reports generated from their website and noticed the numbers they were billing me for were inflated much more than what was on the reports. When I called about the issue, they blamed "faulty data" that was provided in their portal. Right.. They had a very non empathic "not our problem" attitude towards the issue. I took my account off autopay and monitor my account and usage much more closely now.

They have no compassion with their customers and are not consistent with due dates for bills. We as customer have to be constantly monitoring our accounts and calling them because there is no transparency. On how we are billed.

Will disconnect your electricity over $10 balance. Very unprofessional. Obviously it was a mistake and no phone call no tag on door just disconnected. Hungry for $50 reconnect fee I guess.

Good customer service today. The phone call was answered right away and transferred to customer service. No long wait and my questions were explained clearly. I had to wait long before, may be because of the evening or weekend. If you called during the week day afternoon, probably there are more personnel for customer service.

I'm surprised so many negative reviews. I've never been in the office, but I call mostly. The customer service representatives are always very friendly, personable and knowledgeable about their services. They listen and respond appropriately. We even get a good laugh or cry depending on what's happening in my life. The costs is high. I'll never understand that but it's not their fault. Be kind people. We can't always get our way and none of us want to hear the word NO, right.

Worse customer service ever, this Company don't respect payment arrangements and still put a 24 hr notice at my door to get extra $25 dollars fee. If you are late with your payment a week, they'll shutdown your power, even if the temperature was 100+ degrees and you had small kids at home, or you had somebody on oxygen and needed the power 24/7 they simply DON'T CARE!!!!! I'm stuck with these people, I wish I could go back with Southern California Edison. Why do I HAVE TO be with a Company that doesn't work with people's needs? Somebody do something to stop them or make them better pleaseeee!!!
