No problems for us.

My friend and I moved to the neighborhood around the same time. We called to start service and initially no one answered. But after 15mins someone called back and our service got started. No interruption. So good so far.

No problems for us.
When we moved into our new house we were initially surprised to find that Hayward has its own water utility, we went to see them and got automatic payment set up and have had no issues since. The water quality is as good as any and supply pressure is fine. No problems.

Absolutely terrible correspondence. After moving into a residence where the prior tenants failed to pay the there water bill I immediately called to have the account switched into my name as I did with all the other utilities.. waste management of Hayward was a straight forward painless process, light and power the same, tv and internet, no problem. After 2 days of being in the home a notice to shut off was stuck on the door. I immediately called the number on the paper again, this time I even had the account number. No answer again, I left another voicemail this time I left the address, account number, name and phone number 5 days prior to the date they claimed the shut-off would take place I gave a brief description of the problem and asked to please not shut the water off to call me first. I never received a call and called everyday there after returning to the same guys voicemail. Would be 0 stars if there was an option. I guess a lawyer has to be involved for these people to handle there business. Very unhappy customer. Advice for anyone lucky enough to read the reviews after they receive a notice. Go to the office in person so they don't have the option to give you there run around.

There Self pay system is SO jacked up and DOES NOT WORK! It always gives you AVS mismatch no matter what you put in forcing you to call. 3.99 fee to pay over the phone. System doesn't work will never be fixed.. How you going to charge a service fee and none of your services even work

I called like 100000000 times to start water service for my house and no one answered. The phone system keep give me the run around. Base on the automation, the city of Hayward closed all the non essential services due to COVID-19. WATER is essential stupid Hayward, people needs it to live.

Extremely poor customer service. I moved into a new home and the people before did not pay their bill so for that I suffered immensely. Highly inconvenient.
