I normally don't write review, but they are such a great team to work with that I just need to share my experience.

I recently had solar panels installed by Evolution Energy, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. After speaking with multiple installers and receiving several proposals, I decided to go with Evolution Energy for a couple of reasons. Alex was very accommodating and didn’t pressure me into a sale. He took the time to explain everything, and our conversation felt more like chatting with a friend than a sales pitch.

I initially contacted them on September 30, and by October 7, I had signed the contract. My system consists of an 8.8kW DC solar array with 21 panels and two 5kWh batteries (totaling 10kWh) to accommodate NEM 3.0. The installation also required upgrading my electrical panel from 100amp to 200amp, which added to the cost, bringing the total to $32,400. If I didn’t need the electrical panel upgrade, the total would have been closer to $29,000. They also helped install an EV charger for $750, which was a great addition.

The installation crew, including Memo, Rudy, Sam, and a few others whose names I unfortunately missed, were amazing. They were so considerate, explaining everything they were doing and keeping me informed throughout the process. It might seem like a small thing, but the fact that they always let me know when they needed to step away or would be back really stood out. It gave me peace of mind, and I didn’t have to second-guess anything, unlike the nightmare stories I’ve heard from other solar customers.

Even the owner, Sunny, stopped by to help with the stickers that needed to be placed on the panels for compliance. I had the chance to chat with him, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in his work.

What truly impressed me was their responsiveness. Every time I had a question or minor issue, they always responded the same day, often within an hour. Bruce, who helped set up my app, even went the extra mile to adjust the settings on my router to improve its efficiency. It’s clear that everyone at Evolution Energy goes above and beyond.

Another concern I had was what would happen if the system was already installed, and payments had been completed—would they still respond? I had heard horror stories from others about this, but Evolution Energy has proven this to be a non-issue. Today, I noticed that my panels weren’t producing at 100%, so I called Alex. He called me back right away and was proactive in resolving the issue, which gave me complete peace of mind.

The pricing was very reasonable, and what really stood out was how they treated me—not like just another customer, but like a person. I’ve spoken to other solar companies in the same price range, and the difference was night and day. Evolution Energy made the whole process smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable.

The final inspection was completed on January 15, 2025, and I’m thrilled with the entire experience. If you’re thinking about going solar, I highly recommend Evolution Energy. They truly go above and beyond.

I was nervous going into the purchase of my solar panels and I did extensive research on the best companies out there. After reading many positive reviews for Evolution Energy I decided to contact them. My first experience with Alex put me at ease immediately. No pressure, no hard sell, just information and patience for all my questions. Their quote was solid and provided me with a huge amount of information. Alex worked with me to come up with the best configuration for my needs and we decided to proceed with the purchase. Installation was scheduled quickly and the guys that did the install and the upgrade to my electrical panel couldn't have been more professional. Neat, clean and quick. The finishing work (stucco and paint around the new panel) was perfect. Our panels just finished final inspection (passed with flying colors) and I'll soon be on the net metering plan for SCE and will no longer have to pay the ridiculous cost of electricity. My system is producing much more than we are using and this is exactly what I wanted. Thanks to Evolution Energy for their hard work and honesty every step of the way. I got a competitive bid that was exactly the same products as the others, But with substantial savings. I wanted assurances that it would be finished this 2019. They did it in 2 weeks, including my new roof at the beginning of the process. Sunny and Bruce offered communications that were excellent and answered all my questions throughout the process. As it turned out the system size that was recommended to me, based upon them looking at my electric bill, turned out to be only producing three-quarters of my actual consumption the next year. I said I wanted to buy 10 more panels to fix that, and they said no!! we sold you an inverter that won't handle anymore, and you would have to flush down the toilet your Inverter and start over again. My initial wish was to fill in as needed in the future and they were made well aware of that when they were busy selling me the year before.
Total disappointment of my goals.

I couldn’t be more happy with the 11 solar panels on top of our condo. The installation was perfect, and my electrical bills (that used to be as high as $600 in a month for our household) are now below $16 each month — if that. I couldn’t be more satisfied and highly recommend this company. They are simply the best! I especially love their customer service and quick response time. Choose them. You won’t regret it.
