My experience with Five Star Solar was great. They installed my solar system around May last year. From start to finish, the entire process has been nothing short of exceptional.

First and foremost, Ron from the sales department deserves a special shout-out for his professionalism and patience. He not only guided me through the entire process but also addressed every concern with prompt and detailed responses. His dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out.

Our sales rep was Ron. He was really easy to work during the initial process and provided a couple of finance options to purchase the solar. During the process, Natalie was the admin and always sends notifications to keep us up-to-date with installation & permit approval process. Not only they gave me the best price as out of the 3 quotes I received, and service has been great. I am also glad that I did not go with Sunrun or any of the PPA providers. I would recommend 5 star solar to anyone as who is looking to go solar.

The system quote was accurate and complete. No surprises.

The system documentation provided was very detailed. All inspections were passed on the first visit and all documentation was accepted with the first submission.

My house is new and I was very concerned about roof leaks and broken concrete tiles. The Five Star installation team members were clean, professional and very efficient. They took precautions to prevent damage to the house and the new equipment. Note within the photos, no broken tiles. It has rained hard since the installation and I have had zero roof leaks.

They completed the initial installation in a single visit and cleaned-up everything before leaving. All equipment and conduit installations look clean and professional. One additional visit for system inspection and that was it.

My system has been installed for about 90 days and operating without issue. Power production is currently exceeding the promised output. The owner Dustin has put together a good team and I will be using them again when I add my batteries.

Six years ago, 5 Star Solar installed my solar system and it's been working great the whole way through. They're responsive and helpful even 6 years later when I have a question. I had received quotes from about 8 different solar companies six years ago, and 5 Star Solar had the best quote with extra services the other solar companies didn't have. I used to pay over $900/ month to PG&E. Now, I pay a True-Up of about $1,600 annually, mostly because my kids leave lights on everywhere all night. I would definitely choose 5 Star Solar again if I ever move and need to install solar all over again.

Dustin and his team are top notch. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. As is typical with any project, sometimes things don't go quite the way you plan. However, Five Star Solar is incredibly responsive, and made sure everything was delivered as promised. I highly recommend them.

Five Star Solar replaced a faulty micro inverter that was installed by a company that had since gone out of business. Dustin had to re-map my entire array because the other company had mapped it improperly. Dustin was professional, courteous and went above and beyond in mapping out my array remotely over the course of two weeks. I will definitely use Five Star solar for any future maintenance of my solar panels and do recommend them.
