On August 1st, 2024 I signed up with Carlos Hernandez, thinking that I would get all the help I wanted with my solar project. My solar project took five months to complete. Carlos Hernandez was never there for me; he would not even respond to my phone calls or my text messages, not once. I called him so many times and left him so many messages, but he would not respond. He wasn’t there for me, and he didn’t help me at all.

I don't recommend him to anybody. He’s a crook, and he’s there for the money only. He will not stand by your side, and he will not help you with anything. I will give him the worst review ever. Do not trust this guy. He will lie just to get you to sign up, and he will not help you at all, and he won’t be there for you. It’s all lies. I had to do all this on my own without any help, and it took me five months to finish this project. He will not answer any phone calls or text messages.

Thank you for nothing, Carlos. All your lies about treating me like family—what a joke, buddy.

This company unfortunately is full of complete lies and false promises from their sales team to the “project managers” if you even want to call them that. I started a solar project (new solar, battery’s, roof , and HVAC rough in) back in July of 2024 and it is still not completed now (feb 2025)I have had the displeasure of working with Caleb nobles and carlos Hernandez. Carlos sold me on the idea that this company is efficient, professional and trust-worthy when all that’s is all lies from the sales pitch of all the work being done by them “solar x” and not subbed out to multiple different company’s which is exactly what happened with the hvac, main panel upgrade , and when it came tying in the battery’s . To lies of these types of projects being done in 2-3 months , and lastly that they would not get paid until the job is done all lies . Im now 8 months , and 3 loan payments in to this project and the final inspection for the solar system failed two weeks ago and I have had zero date from Caleb “project manager” on when correction will be made . At this point I just want the project to be done and this nightmare to be over I have zero clue how they have as many positive reviews as they do while running a business this way. If you want to be lied to , left in the dark for weeks at a time and make payments on systems that fail inspection and are not operational this is the company for you . Note they (solar x) have merged with next phase energy now and any company who would do business with these absolute buffoons is either completely oblivious or is knowingly condoning terrible practices. Recently did some projects at my home. Did a 150 brick wall, electrical projects and flooring. Not only are they priced extremely fair and their work quality and speed is amazing. I was blown away with everything they did for me. Daniel Ayala handled everything from start to finish. There workers are super talented and do a great job.
