All the Cal Water phone reps are crabby, but today's was ignorant and unprofessional. She answers, laughing --obviously from a private chat w/co-worker. I ask if they can send a technician, as I'd been hearing a substantial leak for several days--that I'm unable to ID the location (indoor/outdoor). She says first that they couldn't tell me, that I would have to (a) find it visually, lol, and (b) call a plumber. (It's a weekend.) Turns out, as I suspected, she had made that up...finally proving my point that they were able to SEE there was a leak via a remote means at their office. Second, I call theCW emergency number and they offer to send someone out here. Remember, folks, this is the outfit that's raised our rates big-time-- three times in the last few years!

I woke to a flooded front yard and know clue where the water came from. I checked my main and got the neighbor to check theirs. It may have been theirs but my leak detector was standing still. Having never experienced this situation before, I called Calwater. The agent on the phone used Google Earth to see where the meters were located and understand how much if my yard was flooded. She was great with advice and who to call if I did have a leak. I have no leak and I won't have to water the front lawn for another week thanks to my neighbor.

Es un lugar en el cual te dicen q nadie abla español y pues trato de tener una vonbersacion en inglés lo cual la persona me dise espera y le abla a otra persona la cual si abla español entonses me piden mi información nombre y apellido y luego mi identificación y seguro social y le respondo no tengo seguro social y pues media en tenemos que ablar con otra persona y te llamamos a lo cual desde las 11am asta la 3:30pm no logro tener rrespuesta me ponen es espera y nada no entiendo si soy tratado como cualquier persona o esto es racismo no entiendo esperare con calma
