Enjoy their selection of BBQ rubs. Employees are very cordial and professional. I would have given 5 stars, except they don't have any injection marinade. Still very nice place to shop for hardware needs. Better than big box stores.

The reason for the 3 stars is solely because of one employee, everyone else was fantastic. I’ll start with the good. We came in around 6:40 tonight just for firewood. The man who greeted us was extremely helpful. He asked us what we needed, he found the item, and even brought us a cart. Everyone we ran into said hello and made sure we were being helped. That is until we ran into Madeline. Madeline was at the register without a customer and another employee was helping a customer at the register. So my husband and I stood in line and waited until someone was ready to check us out. Well Madeline kept rudely looking at my husband while not even telling us she was ready nor did she wave us over. He finally said “oh are you open?” And again instead of using her words she acknowledged him with a condescending look. We walked over there, she scanned all our items again without saying a single word to us then finally told us our total. My husband hands her his card and she slams it on the card reader as if trying to prove a point that we could’ve done it ourselves. He apologized and said he didn’t see the machine but all she did was hand him the card and receipt AGAIN without saying a word. She was incredibly rude and I understand if she was having a bad day but that doesn’t mean she needs to take it out on the customers.

I am a multiple home owner and business owner here in Visalia.And I was told that as long as the store sold it and was installed it would be price matched.I get there and I'm treated very rudely.By the manager and he allows the other people that work there to interrupt him and introject very unprofessional when I ask to speak or get an email or a good way of contact to the headstore manager or owner, he gave me a card and told me that I needed to just call these random numbers on the back. I said, isn't this a chase? He said well, this is the best way to go about it. He didn't even write the guy's name on the card until I insisted prior to coming into the store. This has happened a few times I call and ask if it's in the store. They say no, but it says it's on the website. So then you show up and it's there. They have no ability to actually help the customer. And it continues to be a problem. I really wish the store owner would unfortunately fire the Managers . The actually, he doesn't care at all and he acts very lackadaisical and not bothered,pushing people feeling away because his bad energy is projected onto them as well when I came in the store, I had a backpack on because a lot of stores don't give out plastic. I said I'm here to buy something at the front desk.They insisted that I give them my backpack.This is not china , this is america then he insists I should order off of him when it clearly says I can order it to the store or to my house for 9 dollars less, you would think in the world. We live in right now. The manager would have enough emotional consciousness. And intelligence to actually say Hey, sir. Will price match. You will help you please keep coming back. Reoccurring revenue is better than one purchase I would think I don't know, I guess that's why when you go in the store it's literally empty. Bad.

We were charged an overage due to a system glich on a coupon and the next day we received a phone call letting us know that they would gladly refund us this error, they didn't have to call or even acknowledge that the error existed, we had not caught it ourselves.
We shop this store often, great customer service and Honest management.

The owner of this store who's name is on the building.. Is one of the most selfish and rude people iv ever met... They have insane prices so high you could literally buy the same stuff from Walmart and sell it at his store for 2x the profit.. it's literally price gouging but on every single product. Iv extremely familiar with Ace Hardware Stores and this one is a joke.. Most of the employees are indeed nice and friendly. But you can't expect the charge 2 to 3 times what something worth just becuase of customer service. Don't get me wrong we love the help but you expect They also advertise a price match guarantee that they don't actually guarantee... false advertising.. When I even asked about the guarantee they told me that it should be fine since I'm only price matching a Ace Hardware near by... THE OWNER HIMSELF TOLD ME THAT I BETTER START DRIVING... I hadnt said anything rude or caused any problems... This guy is just completely self absorbed... Looks like the kind of boss who wouldn't give give commission or raises to the employees he expects so much of to compensate his arrogance and laughable prices... (Response) I am well aware of who you are and left your name out as a favor.. 200% markups and more and not competitive.. and im sure it's easy to stay in a business for 76 years when it was your dad built that business handed it over to you. Go back to the firehouse.. 👍🏻

I bought a STIHL pole saw and 3 days later I tried to use it and it won’t run. They refused a refund or to fix it, telling me I have to go through STIHL.
