It seems like there could be some improvement on getting in and out this facility. I waited about 20-30 minutes to get in and another 20-30 minutes to get out.
When you arrive, you wait in line to get weighed, get out your car, wait in line again to get checked in. They take your information and credit card.
You go dump your stuff, on the way out you're back in line again waiting to get weighed again. You get out your car and go wait in line to pay and get your credit card.
It would be more efficient and less redundant to scan your information and have someone that can handle the weigh out and payment.
The girls are doing their best with the current system.
The investment in a better system would pay off considering how busy this facility is.

Terrible customer service, Possibly the worst dump I've ever been to! just a complete mess, muddy, unorganized and they make you drive over a mountain just to dump your load! just a complete joke! Worthless people in charge! pave a road! if you have a nice truck or wearing anything remotely nice it will be full of mud when you leave this joke of a place!

Awesome customer service, everyone is super friendly and you'll get the best deal here.
I do think the signs need to be simplified/upgraded. It would be easier if the ground was painted with color coded arrows directing customers which way to go for what service they needed. I often see customers that have tickets for the mrf come up to the face and wait in line thinking they're in the right place only to be sent back down the ramp.
Also to correct a previous review that complained about the amount of money they recieved for their recyclables; this place pays the most for recycling in the Monterey, Seaside and Marina area.

This recycling center is the worst. The hours say 7:00 to 4:00. I'm here at 8:00am and I ran into employee and it says that the they don't open till 8:30. They don't take cans and when they used to take cans they didn't have a signed posting. "We do not take cans"

If we call you by phone, we expect someone to answer. Not an endless robotic menu that goes to a voicemail anyway.

So far so good! Workers are very nice & how they direct to the correct way, even to park for everyones safety. I would give 5 stars, but the wait is too long. Please continue to be so nice to customers.
