We have used their dumpster service 3 times now and have had a GREAT experience each time... with the 3rd time being EXCEPTIONAL!!! We had a last minute change and needed dumpster a day early and they not only accommodated this request but the dumpster arrived very first thing in the morning and the driver was very courteous and put the dumpster right where we needed it! Communication process was fantastic as well both with office and driver! I would recommend Waste Connections of Alabama to anyone needing dumpster service!

A large dumpster from this company was left in my driveway this afternoon without my knowledge. I was working at home so I know that there was no attempt to confirm that they had the correct address. This dumpster was also placed right in front of my garage door, so I was unable to leave my home.
I called multiple times over a span of 2 hours explaining that a dumpster was mistakenly delivered to my home and blocking my ability to leave my house and pick up my kids from school. I was told that the manager was on lunch the first few times but they were working on it. The last time I contacted them I was told that the manager was in the office but was in a meeting and would call me when they got out.
Keep in mind, I told them every time I called that I had to pick up kids from school and was unable to do so unless they moved the dumpster by 2:15pm. Thankfully I was able to have a friend drop what she was doing to take me to my kids’ school and pick them up. When we returned back to my house at 2:45pm there was a truck in the process of removing the dumpster. I let my kids in the house and waited at the door because I expected the gentleman to come over and speak with me when he was done but instead he simply drove off.
I don’t know how the dumpster ended up at my house but the company didn’t even seem to care that they made a mistake that was inhibiting someone from picking up their children from school. There was no sense of urgency and no one even called me to let me know what was going on. I had to continually call to try and get answers. No one seemed to care and not only was I inconvenienced because of their mistake but my friend was too. If I wasn’t able to get a ride, I would have had to pay for extended care and I doubt Waste Connections would have covered that cost. Thankfully I didn’t have an emergency situation and I was able to find a solution despite their unwillingness to act quickly. I would recommend that Waste Connections make it their policy to always contact and confirm they have the correct address and that the dumpster is placed in a good location. This all could have been avoided if they had simply rang the doorbell and asked if they had the correct house.
