I've been looking for a place that fits all the criteria. I've been looking for in terms of training. Job placement, possibilities and all around environment. And I finally found it here at airstream's renewables period the staff are extremely professional putting safety first. While also maintaining a feel that I can only describe as being at home with people who truly care about where you are and where you're going period if you're looking for a place to start the rest of your life, I highly recommend beginning here period the training the optimism and the all around. Energy of the entire facility makes you want to succeed not only for yourself. But for the people around you period if you're ready to start and a career that you can be proud of then look no further period and if you're worried about money, they'll work with you, whether you're a veteran or a civilian, the skies the limit

Great course material, resume building, and job placement at the end of/during the course! Great instructors who help you, build you up, and are great at corn hole! Would highly recommend for transitioning soldiers of any branch who want to broaden their understanding on renewable energy (Wind,Solar, and Telecommunications). I'm glad I attended and it was worth every second and penny!

Welcoming from day one to end day. Very warm staff with smiles all around and they genuinely help you get to where you want to go through the education and life experiences they share. Zero hesitation coming here as a veteran

Nothing bad to say about the training everything is absolutely great.

Regarding housing payments for staying on campus the complaint isn’t about having to pay or the amount.

There are three full classes of students 20 or more most live on campus and pay for housing there was a program or non profit that came in to pay for half of housing for two classes we were told it was not for our class only the other two classes that’s fine some of us felt a little disappointed but we could live with it bad timing for us tuff luck.

Until random students in our class as well had their fees waived in half when originally we were told it was not for us or our class which you can see starts to become a problem when people are told it wasn’t for them then the opposite happens their are veterans and students who are struggling or have called to explain their circumstances to figure something out.

It leaves those veterans and families here and students feel as if they were spit in their face after reaching out for some help to be told no to then see that for no rhyme or reason some in our class get half of their housing paid off when the entire class were told no the program was not for us. It’s an insult to their sacrifices and families absolutely disgusting behavior it could have been handled so much differently.

Went through the program in 2021 after getting out of the Marines. The program will definitely help you get a job, but you have to be very proactive with applying, and interview well. I had a job secured before graduating. They had a great resume writer that really helped display my military experience in technical terms relative to the field. The instructors were passionate and extremely knowledgeable as well. That being said I believe the course is slightly overvalued (using 4 months of your GI bill) for the certifications you get, Some are useful like the osha-10, but many of them are made up by the program and not really recognized anywhere. Also if you have any kind of service connected disabilities I would advise against this program. All of the Jobs it trains you for are extremely physical and will be hard to sustain everyday with something like knee or back problems. Also do not believe the hype the recruiters pitch you on making six figures in these career fields. maybe if you work 90 hours a week. But the majority of these jobs are going to pay from 17-24 an hour. Wanted to be fully transparent on that. That being said i think this school is extremely professional and full of experienced and passionate instructors. I rated 3 stars because i believe the recruiter for this program made false claims about earning potentials.

If you do the work, you’ll see the rewards.
The course is great for exposing students to some of the nuances of work in wind, solar, and telecom fields. It is not an end all, be all course, but it is a great way to get people from different backgrounds and experience levels up to a standard that makes them marketable. Instructors were knowledgeable and patient. Job placement assistance is also a major plus. The OSHA and first aid certifications alone give graduates a leg up over potential rival applicants for some jobs. For those who have negative things to say, I wonder if it’s a classic example of getting out what they put in. Finishing the course this week with multiple offers working on cell towers without having to move myself or my family, and I will recommend it to anyone I know who expresses interest.

Graduating tomorrow from Fort Cavazos and will say this course has exceeded my expectations, great hands on training. The instructor have a ton of knowledge, the only downside was no running water and the class was in a temporary building.
Overall a great experience and ready to get into the industry.

Ilianay Green was awesome with job placement and career guidance.
