Just had our system turned on my PG&E. Matt installed a ground mount without the use of cement, Axitec 385 panels and a Fronius Primo inverter. System is producing as expected, so could not be happier.

Ericson Solar did our solar one year ago and we are thrilled with the outcome. We had a complicated project because we had two meters. Ericson Solar installed 5k system 16 years ago with an additional 700k about 5 years ago. It has been working well and only had issues twice and they took care of them promptly and efficiently. Matt has great knowledge about Solar. He was the only person who actually crawled up on my roof and checked it out before giving me a bid. He was very clean and neat and efficient. He made sure I got a decent price and good quality equipment. At my true up I actually got a credit from PG&E so I was quite pleased with that. After a little over a year I had a minor problems and called him and he walked me through it without any hesitation and helped fixThe problem. I would highly recommend him if you need solar installed.

Matt Ericson installed our system in 2002. The solar panels functioned beautifully, with no maintenance and very little attention for 16 years. The system was originally designed to provide 80% of our household needs, on the theory that it is easier to send PG&E a few bucks than to try to get money back for overage.
Over the years, we added an apartment and a large mobile home on our property, all feeding off the same electrical supply. Thus, the system was supporting 3 households, not one. Our average PG&E bill last year was $150/month, for 3 families. That also covers our water bill, as we are on a well, and run a pump. The lowest monthly bill was $41, in the summer.
Last year, my bill jumped up to $400. Matt came out, found that one of the 2 inverters had failed, which is to be expected after 16 years. He managed to find a new one to replace both the old ones, and did the work himself, for less than $3000. The next month our bill dropped back down to $51. Other companies didn't even want to try to diagnose the problem; they just recommended replacing the whole system.
