My husband is a dairy farmer in Attica, NY, we used Intelligent Green Solutions to have solar panels installed on our barn for hot water in the barn. The company had to come out multiple times to repair issues. We now have a blown pump and cannot use the hot water in our tank. We have been trying for over a year to get them to come replace the pump. They have stopped returning our calls for help. We even contacted the state attorney general for assistance because the solar panels were installed as part of a grant program through NYS. The attorney general couldn’t get in touch with anyone either. Here we sit unable to use the solar panels and hot water for over a year. Very unhappy! Next step will have to be small claims court over a $200 pump that they should of fixed a long time ago.

Both the consultant that comes out and the crew installing my solar water heater were knowledgeable and friendly. I have to cut them some slack because they haven't been around for the longest time and you can tell they're working a few kinks out in their operations. A few things that didn't go exactly as planned was the time of installation, had to reschedule once. The only other issue was that we have two water heaters, we probably should have been more insistent with ensuring everyone down the line continually knew we had two, so if we want the other to operate form solar we'll have to call them back to install a second smaller unit. Other than those two items, everything was just as expected, I'm getting my heat for my water from the sun and that's all I could ask for. Satisfied customer at the end of the day, and I expect their process will continue to streamline and be perfected.
