A genuinely awful utility company. The power blinks every day in the whole neighborhood without explanation. It rapidly blinks on and off. Light bulbs shoot constantly. We gave up setting the clock on the oven years ago because the sketchy electricity won't stay on. We've been calling about it for years and nothing has ever been done. Any slight weather event knocks power out for hours, even just gentle rain. Then on top of that, they price gouge during the winter. My house has gas heat, so my power consumption goes down during the winter, but the bill goes up. If they had any competition, they'd go out of business rapidly

OK I love Freedom Fiber. Never a problem and the people are great and friendly and always helpful....Now, in January this year I moved and the place where I moved uses Tombigbee Electric (I have always been on Alabama Power) and now I am moving again but only right behind where I am living now (a bigger place) so anyway both times I called Tombigbee to get my power turned on I was greeted with the rudest person. Both times she said, You will have to apply for service online in the rudest tone...I thought that was what I was doing by calling and since I had never had Tombigbee Electric I had no idea. The Electric side ...you have the worst customer service I believe I have seen in a long time...

Freedom fiber is a very fast internet service. The major downside to freedom fiber is the constant downtime they have to various issues, such as cable issues or any small storm.

Freedom fiber : manager please adjust ur workers customer service reps, and i will be looking into getting a recording for the absolutely ridiculous things she said that she had no business with. Breanna is the absolute WORST customer service representative I have ever talk to in my entire life. Over the top rude absolutely no compassion for the trying and working industry, i mean like hello the whole country is littlerally at an all time low and by her attitude she prolly got spoon fed her whole life and still gets bills paid by daddy and momma.

I cannot put into words how great of a customer experience we had at the Hamilton location and the service technician. Kendra Patterson had everything set up in less than 24 hours. She was on spot with EVERYTHING. Amazing customer service, quick, accurate, did not waste any of my time. Called her to set up, due to issues beyond her control she had to send tech out. Tech Charles was out here in about an hour. He was just as great as she was. Polite, professional, fixed in 20 minutes on a Friday evening. Thank you Tombigbee for hiring such great people. It's hard to find people like these two. So respectful and courteous and definitely knows there job!

Unprofessional, no call no show, doesn't return calls, leaves you screwed because they don't communicate. I can't stress enough about the lack of communication part.

We were having electric run out to our property. New property. Okay, so the engineer meets our home builder at the property and let's him know we need a right of way cleared for the electric. Alright, our guy did it like the next day. (He's on top of things and is absolutely amazing) anyways, we then set it up (we were out of town so working everything long distance) for everyone to meet at the property after the right of way was cleared so the engineer could approve it and give us the invoice for their work order. They no called, no showed our home builder. He took time out of his busy day to meet the engineer and the engineer never showed up. Wow... How unprofessional. We understand that things happen but at least call and let us know you can't make it. Then the engineer won't answer is and it took writing a review on Google to get someone to do something. He called, we got the invoice, paid it that same day and then was told we would get it installed sometime between the 22nd of May and the 2nd of June. The week of the second arrives and we have heard nothing. We try calling and once again, no answer and no return call. I drive 5 hours to get to the property on the first. I get there and there's power! Yay! However, because nobody said anything and our temporary housing was up, we get to live without ac and septic for a while. Camping is fun but we've been camping for months before we found a temporary home and are kinda ready for a real house of our own. (Long story short, we had a plan for hosting and because of hurricanes and snowbirds, plans had to be changed) Apparently, the electric was installed on the 21st but nobody said anything!! The lack of communication is just insane. I stand by what I said before. If I had known this was Tom Bigbee, I would have not even considered buying this property but both realtors said Alabama power and the neighbors said Alabama power. Hopefully we don't have any further issues.

It started out GREAT but ended up being LOUSY. I work from home and consistent internet coverage is tantamount. I just called to cancel my service due to bad service and the operator didn't even make an attempt to retain me as a customer.
