Tyler Savage was super patient and explained everything to the tee. We did research and it kept pointing back to Meraki and Freedom Forever. They are the same company now so made it easy to choose. Also Mark Chambers one of there managers was very helpful as well. Would recommend them to anyone....

They are aggressive here. I actually called them out to my previous house to give me the run down because I was interested in solar. But I was interested because of seeing people live off grid and stuff like that. This situation is not what I was anticipating. I felt I needed to leave a review now, because I moved to a new house and another salesman showed up at my house to try to sell the program to me again. I stopped him at the start to tell him I did this before and wasn't interested. To which he would not give up and kept trying to sell me. I try to be a polite person, so I just let him do his speech, but i wish it just ended off the start. I personally have known some of the people who worked here as salesman, and they are nice people, they don't deserve people being mean to them, but I am not interested in their product.

A couple of things here.
-i do not want to take out a loan for the panels
-i do not want to lease them and have a payment for the solar panels forever instead of the energy bill, which I would still get for the hook up fee every month, so actually I'll just be adding on a bill every month to keep track of.
- i don't want them drilled into my roof
-I'm not interested in solar with net metering.
-I do not want to deal with a loan or lease of the panels and I try to sell my house.

I was interested in off grid solar, but once I understood the cost of the systems, I was not. And it ended there for me. Please stop going door to door with this stuff, and just stick to events or trade shows.

I've had so much going on that it has taken me a long time to write this review. But I feel an obligation to warn others, so I'm writing it anyway as I will also be contacting the City of Tallahassee about my experience.
I was approached by Jonathan Mcneil originally about the solar program with the City. A couple a people I knew had already done it and had a great experience, so I was already inclined to do it. I bought a fixer upper that needs some upgrading, so it would have been perfect had I not been lured in by false claims and promises. Jonathan led me to believe that Meraki did other work outside of just solar and promised cutting down a couple of trees, updated electrical, updated lighting, and new insulation (for the new AC) in addition to the solar and AC replacement. I want to be clear that that is the ONLY reason I agreed to work with this company. He told me that they are able to do the work within their company, which cuts down on cost, and that's why they are able to do those "extra" things. He then told me that his manager will need to come out to "verify" everything he says because he sometimes gets excited and promises things that they don't want him to. My father was with me the next time he came with Anthony Brewer, the manager. Everything Jonathan told me before was reiterated and Anthony did not refute ANY of it. He didn't clarify. He didn't tell me it wasn't accurate. Nothing. I wrote down everything they told me they would do right then and there. I asked a lot of questions to clarify what it is I was receiving with the loan and was told lies over and over. I was reading the contract and asked for clarification on the other things promised that I did not see and was assured it was all included. I called multiple times to inquire about the work and emailed the person who was supposed to be my contact, Arielle Ray, about this and have still not received a response. I'm not even entirely sure the panels are working properly, and have contacted the City about it already. I do not appreciate being lied to. I expect you to honor what you promised or compensation otherwise. I would not have gotten the solar when I did had I known this would have happened. Very disappointed and I will be contacting the City about these practices.

Delajuwon Francis was the calmest and collected representative that has approached me about Meraki Solar. He was very knowledgeable in explaining how I would save on my electricity use by having solar panels installed. Upfront he explained there would be no down payments unless I wanted. At my age, I feared the number of payments after retirement! But when I thought about it, it’s one of the things I can leave my loved ones… Lower cost in utilities in the years to come. Delajuwon was able to answer my questions with ease. I’ll return with another review after the solar panels are installed. ?

My Meraki solar was installed November of 2021. There was one glitch early on (one panel malfunctioned). Meraki corrected the issue the next day. No issues since.

I'm very satisfied with the product, its performance, and the customer service. Mark Chambers, the regional manager, has been excellent to work with.

I like to also thank Simon from Meraki who just came by my home to interview me about my solar system. Very nice guy, and generally interested in my opinion.
