SolarSquare doesn't take ownership of anything. Poor project management , team not responsive or shows any urgency to resolve issues. We had power failure upon installation and was left as is for 5 days and we had to use generator for our premises. So choose wisely before dealing with them.

Recently Installed 3.5 KW from Solarsquare. Right from sales call to co ordination expert, everything was on schedule. Design team took a week for closure. Installation was done by Sameer for my house and he is an professional with good experience. Installation got completed in 2 days. Thamees is overall project co ordinator and he has done diligent follow ups and made sure regular updates are passed on. Overall my experience with SolarSquare has been pretty good. They are professionals and process oriented. Awaiting Bescom approval in Bangalore for Net meter fitment and commisioning. iam sure solar square will follow up for closure. They have informed me 30 days for closure with Bescom. Hoping for the best.

The team is prompt and friendly. Overall service rendered by Mohamed Sameer was good and they are open for our suggestions. Structure and quality of materials are good. Yet to be connected to the e grid. However team may be given training for more professional approach in the work.

Do not choose SolarSquare. The service provided is terrible. Once payment done customer has no value. Your call won't be answered or your requests will be ignored.

- Edit 10/22/2024 : Updating the rating to 3 after reviewing the maintenance for 5 months & receiving the subsidy as well. They are proactive with the maintenance and no follow up is necessary. As I understand now, SolarSquare and MSEDCL were together responsible for the delay in my solar plant commissioning with the latter responsible for causing more delays.

-- Endlessly waiting on the solar plant to be online (Read the comments to save yourself from the agony)
Installation crew was bang on time and did the installation to our satisfaction. Good job on the setup side. Will post further updates once the solar plant is online 🙂

Edit 22/03/2024: More than a month has passed after the installation and I am still waiting for the plant to be online. Looks like I will need to follow up regularly with them to get some updates. This is the second time that tentative dates for plant commissioning are missed. Expect them to notify us in case of any delays instead of us asking for updates on missing the timelines (reduced a * from my previous rating).

Edit 3/05/2024: Still waiting for the plant to be online. They keep on giving dates which keep on slipping all the time.
