Christoph and the team did a great job planning and fitting my heat pump. Every step of the process was explained clearly and any questions answered in full and at length.

The installation team were very professional, making sure I was aware what was happening every day, keeping the house clean as they went and I felt did a really neat job.

We couldn’t have been more impressed by Econic, from start to finish.

First, the survey was prompt (within days) and extremely well and clearly presented – the costs of installation, the potential savings of both money and CO2 with and without a battery. Everything was well explained. We discussed in details where to put the heatpump and battery (for storing energy from the grid at offpeak hours and potentially for future solar feed). We agreed to upgrade two radiators but didn’t need to replace anything else in the house.

The installation took four days – with just the first day without hot water for a few hours. Econic lent us heaters during the period. The Econic teams – both the electricians and heating plumbers – were terrific, all very efficient, super courteous, and left everthing clean and organised at the end of the day.

Finally, we’re very happy with the operation of the heatpump and battery. The house – four storeys and not very well insulated (thin brick walls, not cavity) – is warm. The water’s hot. And the Apps to regulate the heatpump and the battery are clear and easy to use.

All in all, it is hard to imagine a better experience of installing a heat pump and battery.

Experienced and knowledgeable team and incredibly enthusiastic about all things heating and heat pumps related – and it showed in the quality of their advice, service and workmanship. I have a Victorian house in North London that I have spent several years renovating. A few years ago I put solar panels on the roof with a battery storage system. The last remaining major project was removing gas heating and going all electric with a heat pump heating system. It took several years and several attempts to find a contractor and heat pump system that were well suited for the retrofit of the Victorian house.

I was very pleased with the Econic Energy team, having by far the most knowledge for what heat pump system would fit with my house, how it should be installed, and how it could be installed efficiently with minimal interruption to the house. The team executed the project in less than a week, and the system is now working well.

I am happy to recommend the Econic Energy team, and encourage others to pursue heat pump heating system retrofits for their own houses.

Econic installed a heat pump and battery in my home, and were very helpful and good at communicating the process all the way through. Despite a little hiccup with getting the battery commissioned (not their fault but that of the battery manufacturer), the system is all set up and works well. I’m looking forward to seeing how much the winter’s bills will now come down.

After talking to many companies about changing from my gas boiler to a heat pump, I selected Econic as they clearly understood what was required and were very knowledgeable.

The survey and instalation were exceptional. All my concerns were answered and the tradesmen were the ultimate professional.

Post instalation there have not been any surprises. Can't wait for winter to see how the heat pump performs - currently I'm just using hot water, all working well and it's very quiet.

I've had the heat pump for several months now and I'm very happy with everything about it. The hot water is always there and the house is always at the temperature you set on the thermostat. And my bills have gone way down.
Also, the installation was very professional. The garden where the heat pump is located was tidier when they left than it had been before they came.
