Greg installed our solar pool heater a little over a year ago for our vacation home. When we encountered some issues the other day, we reached out to Greg and he was very quick to show up and diagnose the issue. He sent us very thorough diagnosis video (since we were far away) and helped us with claiming our warranty for the replacement part. He also helped set up a temporary solution in the meantime, which ensure the guest can still enjoy the pool while waiting for the replacement part. Thank you so much for your speedy help Greg!

Green Planet replaced my solar pool heater panels & Pool Pump in June 2024. Greg Minadeo did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable. I recommend you watch his videos. He was easy to work with and he kept me informed throughout the process. When he replaced my variable speed pump, he recognized that my existing pump had been incorrectly installed and replaced all the plumbing. The pool sweep has never worked so well.

My experience with Greg was awesome. When I called him I explained that I had already had another company come out for leaking panel and broken shut off valve. I was not happy with their service and had already paid them a trip charge and a fee to fix the valve and they were going to come back to install a new panel. After they came out I was so disappointed with the techs that I did not want them to install a panel for me. That's when I called Greg and explained my whole delemma. Greg was so understanding and came out right away. Looked everything over and told me I had 2 panels leaking. He quoted me a price which was a lot less than the previous company. He immediately went to the factory, got the panels and came back and installed them. He explained everything to me and even took pictures before and after. Thank you so much Greg! You were so understanding and provided excellent customer service!

Super impressed with Green Planet Solar.
The company I used for my pool solar heater service for several years apparently sold their service business to a company in Orlando. I contacted the manufacturer of my solar panels and asked for a local service recommendation. They recommended Green Planet Solar. Oh my gosh, what a great experience. Green Planet promptly responded to my call and arranged to come over and view the system within a couple of days. There was a problem with the system that they could take care of and then they also pointed out some deficiencies in the overall layout of the system which I was aware of. Greg presented a very reasonably priced game plan to repair which I accepted. Their execution to the game plan was absolutely perfect. Quality service. Extreme knowledge of solar. Efficient in the repair and upgrade to my system. I highly recommend Greg and Green Planet Solar.

Jeff Glass, I'm so very surprised by your note on having your pool heating system installed 3 months ago - I was told, by Greg, that he didnt have the pool panels and was waiting for them, this was at least 6 months ago ! YES ,, he has NEVER contacted me, returned my calls, or EVEN bothered to let me know there was any delay at all, and look here, you had yours installed 3 months ago ! Guess he already spent the money I paid 1.5 years ago and doesnt want to bother to reach into his own company pool to contribute into doing the right thing for me. I WILL NEVER recommend him to any person I know across Florida . BARBARA

I highly recommend Green Planet Solar Systems in Largo, FL. Greg and his team were awesome to work with to install replacement solar pool heater panels.

Greg was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions about the process. He also made sure to explain the benefits of solar pool heating and how it would save us money on our energy bills.

Shawn did a great job installing the panels. He was professional and efficient, and he cleaned up after himself when he was finished.
