I entered into a contract with RB back in November of last year (2017) for a Solar Pool Water Heater. As of today the job is not done, apparently they cannot get the county to approve the permits. What has made it worst is their inability to communicate what the true issues are. My last email to the company was sent on September 13th, 2018 and I received a response on September 16th, 2018 that they would be replying with status by the end of the day. 12 days later I have not received a reply. I have dealt with many contractors and done many projects, this company has been unable to deliver.

--UPDATE February 4th 2019 -- Contract entered into November 22, 2017

I was hoping by now this odyssey would be over with, we are 16 months into this project and after many promises and excuses the project is at a stand still. I have requested a refund of my deposit from the company and my last email has gone unanswered for more than 24 hours, there appears to be no sense of urgency. If this is service provided during the sale and install process what is to be expected in the post sale and warranty service process.

Buyer beware, please take all one star reviews seriously.

In additional to all above, I've had pipes and fittings sitting in my property for over 7 months, when the company initiated an install without a notice to proceed form the county.

In my latest emails to the company I have requested for them to pick up or give direction as to how to dispose of this eyesore, no answer as of yet. Pictures for illustration are uploaded. I am seeking advice from local and state agencies on the issue and will update progress on the hopes that I can assist anyone else experiencing similar issues

UPDATE 02052019-
I have just received an email from RB Solar they will be making a full refund on my deposit. If I understand it clearly the county has to review the requirements for the solar water heater installation. I will keep posting updates.

Like I promised I would do a update when my project is finished so here goes, my contract started in November 2018 and everything got done in may 2019 but my bill did not go down. It remained almost the same.

Our first contact with Maurice King of RB Green Energy was great. He was very warm, informative and very helpful to get the project started. After all the paperwork was sorted, the installation process went smooth and soon we were on our way to receiving greatly reduced electrical bills.
Now, having come back from completing our 2017 taxes, we are so excited to receive our 30% from the solar panel project.
We are SO HAPPY with this company, their attention to the smallest detail and the follow on service. Having done only 50% of the project, we look forward to working with them to complete the rest.

I decided to go solar this year and I looked into a few companies. A friend of mine suggested RB Green Energy, so I set up an appointment. From my initial meeting with one of the representatives, Maurice King, I knew right away that I would be going with RB. Mr. King was very informative and answered any question that I had. We went step by step to see which set up would work best for me and my family. The process was very easy and I felt comfortable once I made my decision. From there, the people in the office were very polite and friendly and they guided me through the entire process. Once all of the permits were approved, which they took care of, the work began with no hiccups. The crew came on time everyday and once they were finished, they left it as the came. I never went outside and saw any garbage. In the end, my panels are up and running. Mr. King came back to the house and showed me how everything works. He also showed me how to fill out the tax form for the credit this year. In all it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend RB Green Energy to anyone.
